Lusid Technologies was born from a passion for pushing the technological envelope in the automotive paint industry. What started as a modest regional manufacturer quickly gained recognition for innovation and quality.
Expanded with Salt Lake City Facility
Strategic expansion brought us closer to the heart of the Intermountain West's automotive community, positioning us for nationwide growth.
Import Partnerships with General Paint
We began importing the GenRock automotive refinish line from General Paint Co.S.A.L. in 2006, followed by a corporate relationship with the owners in 2009. These partnerships expanded our product portfolio and market reach.
GenVerde & GlobalStar Launches
We launched GenVerde to the US and Canadian markets in 2013, bringing environmentally focused coatings to our lineup. GlobalStar followed in 2015, reinforcing our commitment to offering premium paint solutions across multiple segments.
Facility Expansion & Training Center Opening
We expanded our Salt Lake City facility and opened a dedicated training center. This investment reflected our belief that body shop success depends on more than just great paint—it requires expert guidance and hands-on instruction.
Acquired Full GlobalStar Technology
We acquired the complete technology and intellectual property of the GlobalStar product line, giving us full control over one of our premium paint families and enabling continuous innovation.
Launched Ares Spectrophotometer
We introduced the Ares spectrophotometer for NorthStar and GlobalStar paint lines, bringing precision color matching and digital integration to our customers. This technology became a game-changer for color accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Expanded Production & Digital Presence
